We are a class of 27 fantastic Year 1 and 2 Students. We learn alongside our teacher Whaea Jill and our learning assistant Mrs Andreoli.

Cross-country and production!
What a fantastic day we had at the Tawhiti School Cross-country yesterday. Tawhirimatea (the Weather God) blessed us with a beautiful day, bright sunshine and now wind. The students all enjoyed the experience of running the proper cross-country course. Congratulations to all the runners and thanks to all the supporters who came along.
We are also practising really hard for our production. We are really lucky that we are working together with our buddy class, Pohutukawa, so we have lots of senior students to help us out. We are in the process of learning all the rock and roll moves and putting them together into a dance that Mrs Chadwick has choreographed for us. Feel free to come to the classroom in the afternoons, to watch us as we practise. You may even want to join in!!
